Over the course of the semester, I worked with my classmate Mel Siu to develop a personalized makeup shopping app that helps users find products tailored to their unique features, skin types, and lifestyles. We noticed how overwhelming and expensive it can be to experiment with makeup, especially when shopping online without being able to try things out first. Our app uses AI and facial recognition to recommend products that suit each user’s individual needs, making it easier to discover what works for you. We focused on simplicity, customization, and building confidence in each purchase, so users feel good about their choices before the products even arrive.
